BJD MLA Prabhat Biswal shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack

. Bhubaneswar:25/9/17: BJD MLA Prabhat Biswal, who is currently behind bars in connection with Seashore chit fund scam, was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack today. He has also applied for bail in Khurda District and Sessions Court here today.

He was shifted to Cuttack following the advice of a four-member team of doctors from Capital Hospital attending him since Friday, hospital superintendent Chitta Ranjan Dash said.

“Our Orthopaedic specialist found a major problem in his waist as he had undergone a surgery recently. He has some neurological disorder in the right leg and also suffering from loss of appetite. So, we have advised him to undergo treatment at Neurology and Gastroenterology departments there,” Dash said.
