Explosion at the Ordnance Factory at Badmal

Bolangir:16/9/17: At least three persons have been critically injured in an explosion at the Ordnance Factory at Badmal in Odisha’s Bolangir district today.

According to reports, Pradip Kumar Sahu, Souri Narayan Pandya and Devi Ranjan Rout who were working as Junior Works Managers got severely injured in an explosion that occurred at Unit no. 15 of the factory at around 11 am today. The blast took place while these officers were engaged in proofing of ammunition, reports added.

The injured officers have been shifted to VIMSAR at Burla, reports further said.
