School and Mass Education Departement of Odisha issued special guidelines to all schools across the state.

Bhubaneswar:14/9/17: In a bid to secure safety majors for students in school, the School and Mass Education Departement of Odisha today issued special guidelines to all schools across the state.

Following the special guidelines, the identity proof has been made mandatory for visitors to enter school premises.

Vendors selling food items will not be allowed to inside of school premises. If they want to enter then they will take permission of school authorities and the authority will keep a watch on them, Ranjana Chopra, School & Mass Education Department Secretary said.

It has also directed to take attendance of driver, conductor and cleaner of school bus and conduct the police verification.

School & Mass Education Department Secretary said that junior students should not be allowed to washroom alone without supervision. This apart, there should be separate bathrooms for School staffs and students.
