Naveen Patnaikto unveil a statue of freedom fighter Saheed Laxman Nayak at the new medical college

Bhubaneswar:4/9/17; Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today left for Koraput from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) at 9.50 am by Air C90 (VT-EJZ) Aircraft to unveil a statue of freedom fighter Saheed Laxman Nayak at the new medical college premises in the district.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive at Jeypore airstrip at 10.45 am and will then fly in VT OSC A109 E Helicopter to BSF helipad. As per the schedule, Naveen will arrive at the medical college at 11.15 am and would address the gathering.

After attending the programme the CM would leave for state capital at 12.15 pm and will arrive here at 1.05 pm.

Notably, the CM was left hanging in air for more than 45 minutes after his chopper missed the coordinates for landing at Kotpad in Koraput district on December 22 last year.

With the aircraft not making it to Kotpad on time, rumour mills went on the overdrive over the CM missing in air.
