Former Odisha Ranji team captain Haladhar Das was detained by the police!

Cuttack:27/8/17; Former Odisha Ranji team captain Haladhar Das was detained by the police here today for reckless driving causing series of accidents in the city.

The ex-Ranji player was chased and intercepted by locals at Chahata road after he injured several people by hitting their vehicles between Mangalabag square and Chahataghat. He was later handed over to Bidanasi police.

The cricketer was allegedly in an inebriated condition and hit 15 to 20 vehicles on the way after losing control over the vehicle.
