Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee is now a foregone conclusion.

Bhubaneswar:25/8/17: After months of intra-party wrangling, leadership change in the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) is now a foregone conclusion.

With the team All India Congress Committee (AICC) observers submitting fact-finding report to party vice president Rahul Gandhi for revamping of the beleaguered Congress Odisha,  the OPCC chief Prasad Harichandan’s days are numbered.

By all indications, Prasad may be shown the exit doors next month. But it is all left to vice president Gandhi to find out a worthy PCC chief who could give befitting political challenge to ruling BJD and a resurgent BJP in Odisha.

The AICC panel in a exhaustive 70-page report has reportedly elucidated the state of affairs of Odisha congress since past 17 years. The weak leadership of current OPCC chief and his lack of bonding with senior party leaders are understood to have figured prominently in the panel report.
