Odisha High Court today granted conditional bail to Seashore owner Prashant Das

Cuttack:18/8/17: The Odisha High Court today granted conditional bail to Seashore owner Prashant Das, who has been lodged in the Jharpara circle jail after his arrest by the CBI four years ago for alleged involvement in chitfund scam in the State.

The court asked Prashant to submit his passport and take permission of the Investigating Officer (IO) while going outside the State.

Besides, he was asked to provide two zamindars to secure the bail.

The counsel of Prashant said the argument was put forth in the court citing instance of the Supreme Court granting bail to his elder brother in the same case.
