Bhubaneswar:13/8/17: Technical Education Secretary Sanjay Singh was appointed as the Vice Chancellor (in-charge) of Biju Patnaik University of Technology in Odisha following resignation of Shyam Sundar Patnaik from his post as the VC.

Patnaik’s resignation was accepted by the Governor.

Singh will be the VC in-charge till appointment of new VC of the varsity.

Meanwhile, Prashant Patra has been appointed as the new Registrar of the university, sources in the Governor office said.
