Forty six newly appointed ASOs visited Dhamra Port to gather firsthand port operational knowledge

Bhadrak:4/8/17:Led by under-secretary of Home department, Mr. Debendra Kumar Dash and the chief trainer of Odisha Secretariat Training Institute Mr Prabir Pradhan, a team of 46 newly appointed ASOs visited Dhamra Port to gather firsthand port operational knowledge.

Bhadrak collector Mr Jyana ranjan Das greeted them with a warm welcome after arrival of the team and the team discussed about various developmental works carried out in the district.

Special land acquisition officer of district administration Mr Suryakant Padhi took the charges of visiting the team to Dhamra port. After arrival of the team at Dhamra Port Mr Subhasis Mishra, Deputy Manager corporate communication welcomed them. Port Harbor master captain Mirja Baig spoke about the details about the geographical situation of the port, cargo handling inside the port and a brief about operational technique of the Port and port extension work. Commando Mr Saroj Sahu and Mr Lalit Kumar Rath thanked the team on behalf of the port. Dhamra port will be a new junction of export and import and it will help in the economic development of Odisha, said the newly appointed ASOs during their visit to the port.
