BJP Vice-president met Governor seeking his intervention Naveen Patnaik irregularities in the poll expenses

Bhubaneswar:29/7/17: A day after BJP moved the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking a probe into the alleged irregularities in the poll expenses of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, a team of the party delegates led by BJP Vice-president Samir Mohanty today met Governor SC Jamir seeking his intervention into the matter.

Notably, the BJP on Friday had approched the ED to launch a inquiry over the alleged poll funding charges against the CM.

Worth mentioning, a BJP delegation including the party national spokesperson Sambit Patra had also met the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday demanding disqualification of Naveen as a legislator for allegedly submitting false poll affidavit.

Earlier, the party had also moved the Income Tax Commissioner on Monday seeking a thorough inquiry into the alleged irregularities.
