Patha Utsav showcase the glorious legacy of Paika Rebellion

Bhubaneswar: July 23/7/17: Today’s Patha Utsav was somehow special to the audience, because the subject of presentation of this Sunday event was to showcase the glorious legacy of Paika Rebellion. Odiya warriors (Paikas) from Khurda presented their traditional ‘martial arts’ skills as part of the Bicentenary Celebrations of Paika Rebellion. Also, the martial dancers showcased their precision with the swords and later presented an episode from Mahabharata. Despite heavy rains huge gathering witnessed the special edition of ‘Patha Utsav’.
