Odisha Chief Minister dismissed the allegation BJD’s dubious source of party funding

Bhubaneswar:23/7/17: A day after BJP hurled charges of ruling BJD’s dubious source of party funding, the regional party supremo Naveen Patnaik today dismissed the allegation while saying that it smacked off conspiracy.

The charges are false and fabricated. It’s a misinformation campaign launched by opponents to dent BJD’s image. If required, the party may take recourse to legal measures, he said.

BJP does not have people’s support. In the recently concluded Zilla Parishad election, BJP stood third in the race in Nuapada, the home turf its party president, he added.

It may be recalled here that the state unit of BJP had yesterday dared the Patnaik to come clean by disclosing the sources of party funding. It had alleged the ruling BJD is filling party coffers from dubious sources with very much in the knowledge of Chief Minister Patnaik.
