Odisha state BJP alleged that BJD accrued funds in the party coffers from dubious sources

Bhubaneswar:22/7/17: The state unit of BJP today alleged the regional party has accrued funds in the party coffers from dubious sources with very much in the knowledge of Chief Minister Patnaik.  It’s nothing but a hawala scam as crores of rupees have been transferred from the dubious SBI account number (10091755246). The party which continues the rule the state for past 17 years under the garb of transparent governances does not have the moral courage to submit the party funding and expenditure details to the election commission, BJP vice president Sameer Mohanty told newspersons here today.

The unscrupulous manner of BJD funding has now come under judicial scanner with a common man moving the court. With court directing the election commission to initiate action, it’s high time BJD supremo Patnaik to make public disclosure on the sources of party funding. Mayurbhanj MP Hansda, in jail and facing trial in Chitfunds scam has also been a beneficiary from the dubious bank account as has been the BJD. The nexus of BJD and its president Patnaik with dubious finance operator has now become crystal clear, he charged.

True face of Naveen Babu has been exposed. Naveen has developed the knack for indulging in theatrics by making tall claims of transparency, probity, honesty in public life.

The BJD party accounts should be made public and its sources need to be disclosed. A number of financial transactions have been done through a specific RTGS number (538976288). The transactions were dubious and it all has unmasked the corrupt face of BJD and its self-proclaimed supremo Navven Patnaik, BJP state unit said.

The party would move election commission, income tax besides the enforcement directorate as people have all the right to know corrupt financial deals of Patnaik and his coterie, BJP vice president Mohanty.
