BJD will extend its full support for NDA’s Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind

Bhubaneswar:14/7/17: Ruling out the possibilities of cross voting by leaders of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik cleared doubts by telling media that there is no possibility of cross voting in his party and BJD will extend its full support for NDA’s Presidential nominee Ram Nath Kovind in the President polls.

Naveen’s statement came after meeting with Kovind at the Odisha Assembly Hall here.

The Chief Minister further stated that “BJD is supporting Ram Nath Kovind as the presidential candidate and we requested all law makers, parliamentarians of the party to vote for him, he added.

Meanwhile, Kovind expressed his gratitude towards BJD by saying, “I am very happy to be here and grateful for the support of BJD led by Naveen Patnaik”, Kovind said.

Earlier today, Ram Nath Kovind met ruling BJD MLAs and MPs at Odisha Assembly and had lunch with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his one-day visit here.

Kovind, accompanied by Union Health Minister JP Nadda later spent an hour at Naveen Niwas with the CM.
