Odisha woman Ekta becomes finalist in Mrs India Worldwide

Bhubaneswar4/7/17:: Ekta Swain Oberoi, hailing from Odisha’s Cuttack, has made Odisha proud by becoming the finalist in the prestigious Haut Monde Mrs India Worldwide competition, held for married women.

Having done her graduation from Ravenshaw University and an MBA from MS Ramaiah Institute of Management, Bangalore she is currently working as the Assistant Vice-President in Standard Chartered Bank, New Delhi.

On being asked what her aim was she said, “I would be d only girl representing my state Odisha and I want to prove that life never ends after marriage .. every woman has a spark and confidence should be allowed to be shown to the world. I would like to work for women empowerment and specially for married women to fulfil their dreams.” She wants all women to come out of their confined situation after marriage.

She is the only contestant representing Odisha in Mrs India Worldwide and seeks the support of the people of Odisha. The finale is scheduled to take place on August 5th
