Tension prevailed at Biju Patnaik International airport

Bhubaneswar:2/7/17; Tension prevailed at Biju Patnaik International airport here after a Delhi bound Air India flight was cancelled on Sunday.

According to reports, the Air India flight AI-076 reportedly developed some ‘technical glitch’ on the runway minutes before its take off.

All the passengers were immediately asked by the crew of the plane to deboard as a safety measure.

Following the incident, the passengers travelling in the Air India flight created ruckus after they were stranded at the airport. Angry scenes were witnessed at the airport as some passengers also gheraoed the officials of the flight for not giving them satisfactory reason over the cancellation of the flight or any other alternative arrangements.
