NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant met Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar:2/7/17; NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant met Naveen Patnaik at the State Secretariat here on Saturday and held discussions regarding setting up of a coastal economic zone (CEZ) in the State under the Sagarmala project.

The Centre is planning to set up three CEZs across the country, including one in Odisha which will come up in the combined area of the Paradip and Dhamra ports.

Speaking to media after a meeting with the Chief Minister, Kant said, “We are impressed with the infrastructure at Dhamra and Paradip Ports and the State has huge potential for investments. There is no other State in the country excepting Odisha where two ports are located in so close vicinity,” he added.
