Puri:27/6/17; After inspection of the Garbha Gruha (sanctum sanctorum) of the Jagannath Temple the technical team of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) today informed that it is safe except for a minor ventilation issue that will be inspected by a special committee.
When asked about the Jagamohan repair, Director (Monument) of ASI said, “The construction work is almost complete. The remaining work can be completed within two months after getting permission from the temple administration.”
Earlier on June 2, chief of the technical core commitee NC Pal had informed that ongoing repairs and conservation of Jagamohan is almost over.
