76 newly recruited Additional Soil Conservation Officers received appointment letters

Bhubaneswar:27/6/17; As many as 76 newly recruited Additional Soil Conservation Officers (ASCOs) today received appointment letters from Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in a function at Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) here.

Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said: “I am very happy to know that more and more professionals from Agriculture and related fields are joining government to work in this sector.”

Addressing the newly recruited officials, the CM said,”You must play a proactive role keeping the farmers’ interests in mind. You have come into government service through a system that was transparent and honoured merit. Your work in government must also honour merit and transparency. You will be at the cutting edge and you should ensure last mile delivery.”
