DHARMENDRA PRADHAN DEMANDS WHITEPAPER ON PC

Bhubaneswar:13/6/17;A day after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik asked the District Collectors to stop collection of PC (percentage) from contractors for giving Government work orders at the block level, Opposition parties have got an opportunity to take potshots at the BJD Government.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday said if the State Government has guts, it should publish a Whitepaper on how many contracts have been awarded without calling for tenders, and in all these years how much PC has been collected.

Congress Chief Whip Tara Prasad Bahinpati said it is too late. Why the State Government was sleeping for 17 years, he questioned.
