Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee demanded prompt action from the state government in the SOA fake job offer

Bhubaneswar:28/5/17: The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee today demanded prompt action from the state government in the SOA fake job offer issue. Congress leaders have asked the state government to ensure a secure future for the students who were duped in a fake placement row in the varsity. The party has also demanded probe by state government into the issue.

Congress today held a press conference questioning the BJD government’s action on various issues. Raising the SOA placement row, spokesperson Sougat Mohanty said the state government is not able to provide jobs but at least it must ensure that students are not trapped by fraud organisations promising placement. In the press conference the Congress also posed questions to the state government’s water resources, sports and IT departments.
