Odisha government targets to provide jobs to 30 lakh youths by 2025

Odisha government targets to provide jobs to 30 lakh youths by 2025, informed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) working committee meeting here today.

The Chief Minister said addressing the BYJD working committee that in three years five lakh jobs were created and out of that 50,000 were government jobs.

Patnaik advised BYJD workers to be ‘tech savvy’ and use social media platforms to counter misinformation being spread by some people at different levels. These misinformation campaigns should be countered at all levels, he added.

The BJD supremo said that the total process of constitution of organizational committees of the BYJD will be completed by the end of July.

“Biju Yuva Janata Dal working committee met today. It was decided to complete constitution of district committees in the next 15 days. Constituency and block level committees in the next 30 days and panchayat-level committees in the next 45 days. The total process will be completed by 30th of July,” the BJD supremo told reporters.
