Telkoi block of Keonjhar district dawn-to-dusk bandh Protesting unannounced power cut

Telkoi (Keonjhar):15/5/17: Shops, government offices and other institutions remained closed today in Telkoi block of Keonjhar district due to a dawn-to-dusk bandh being observed by locals protesting frequent long hours of unannounced power cut in the area.

The markets and roads in the town wore a deserted look due to the bandh observed by the locals. Vehicular traffic was affected on the NH-49 after locals blocked road at Jagamohanpur. However, following police intervention, the agitating locals agreed to allow buses only to ply on NH-49, providing some relief to commuters
