Premanajan Paridawas honoured for his lifetime contribution in 49th Banichitra Awards

 

BHUBANESWAR:2/5/17; The 49th annual Banichitra film and album awards for Oriya cinema and small screen instituted by the four-decade-old Oriya film magazine Banichitra were presented in a colourful ceremony at Rabindra Mandap here.Actor Premanajan  Paridawas honoured for his lifetime contribution to cinema while singer Geeta Pattnaik was conferred with Dhira Biswal saman. ExFinance Minister P.C. Ghadei, chief guest on the occasion, presented the awards while actorPrasant Nanda and Banichitra magazine founder-editor Parikshita Jena were also present. The award presentation ceremony was followed by a colourful evening of dance and music.
