Second time year bus fare has been increased.

Bhubaneswar:25/4/17: With the increase in petrol and diesel prices, Odisha Government has hiked fares for all categories of passenger buses as per automatic fare adjustment mechanism. A notification issued by the Commerce and Transport Department on Monday  has said that the fares of ordinary and express buses have been increased.

The statement mentions that the fare for ordinary buses have been increased from 59 to 60 paisa per kilometer, while the fare for express bus have been increased from 62 to 63 paisa per kilometer.

Similarly, the fare for deluxe buses have been increased from 82 to 84 paisa, while the fare for A/c deluxe buses have been raised from Rs 1.30 to Rs 1.50 paisa.

With this hike, this is for the second time year that the bus fare has been increased.
