BJD MLA drew flak for sitting on a police inspector’s chair

Jajpur:25/4/17; Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Amar Prasad Satpathy drew flak for sitting on a police inspector’s chair here on Tuesday where he had gone to inaugurate a new building.

According to reports, Satapathy, Barchana MLA of Jajpur district, was invited to inaugurate a new building of Balichandrapur police station where the incident happened.

The legislator, however, said he didn’t violate any protocol.Satapathy said: “The SDPO invited me to inaugurate the office of inspector In-charge (IIC) and I sat on the chair to write the remarks, which as per my knowledge don’t violate any protocol.”
