Odisha bagged tourism award

New Delhi: 22/4/17:Odisha bagged tourism award in a function held in New Delhi, organised by ‘India Today’ Group. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation handed over the first runners up prize in ‘Beach & Costal Tourism’ category.

Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister of Tourism & Culture received the award on behalf of the state.

State Government is taking many initiatives for development of tourism sector, especially for development of Buddhist tourism, Tribal Tourism and Rural Tourism, while participating in a questionnaire session organised by ‘India Today’ Group, said Panda.
