MoU between Department of Agriculture& Melinda Gates Foundation has been inked

Bhubaneswar:23/4/17:  A MoU between Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has been inked on Friday at the State Secretariat in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik & Minister, Agriculture & Farmer’s Empowerment Pradeep Maharathy.

The MoU worth Rs 32 crore is aimed at improving the lives of smallholder farmers and promoting inclusive agricultural transformation in Odisha.

The MoU was signed by Hari Ballav Mishra, Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha and Nick Austin, Director of Agricultural Development at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
