Tension gripped Bhadrak town in Odisha

Bhadrak:6/4/17: Tension gripped Bhadrak town in Odisha today over an objectionable photo and offensive remarks on Lord Ram in social media as Bajrang Dal and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists blocked the main road by burning tyres protesting the incident.

They also gheraoed Bhadrak Town police station demanding arrest of the persons involved in posting such remarks in social media, reports said.

The Bhagat Sena Ram Navmi Samiti has lodged a complaint with police in this regard with a demand of arresting Asif Khan, Asif Ali and M Jahan for their alleged involvement in posting such remarks.

Following uproar, section 144 of CrPC was clamped in the town, sources said.
