At group chief Pradip Sethi and sentenced him with a jail term of seven years

Bhubaneswar:6/4/17: A special CJM CBI court has convicted At group chief Pradip Sethi and sentenced him with a jail term of seven years. Sethi’s aide Manoj Patnayak has also been sentenced to jail of four years.

In the significant hearing, the Court has asked Sethi to deposit a fine of Rs 30,000 failing which his term will be extended by another six months. He has also been directed to deposit Rs 250 crores or his property will be attached if the amount is not deposited by the prescribed deadline, the Court said. The deposited amount will be refunded to the victims of the fraud by AT Group.

Patnaik has been asked to deposit a fine of Rs 10,000.
