Cuttack:5/4/17: After doctors at the SCB Medical protested against lack of security arrangements for them and sat on a cease work stir, the health department has decided to install CCTVs in hospital premises.

Last week, SCB Medical doctors ceased work demanding better and dedicated guards for doctors at hospitals.

Today, health secretary Pramod Meherda has directed all district collectors to install CCTVs in state run hospital premises and also increased security to protect doctors. Also, only two passes will be provided per patient while all hospital employees will be given identity cards.
