Fifth Convocation of the Utkal University of Culture Held 

Bhubaneswar: 5/4/17(ONT BUREAU) The 5thConvocation of the Utkal University of Culture was held at Rabindra Mandap earlier today. Governer S C Jamir gave away the degrees. Dr.Ratan Thyam, Chairman.National school Of drama graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation Address.

Eminent persons from the fields of art, culture and literature like Film Maker and Director Manmohan Mahapatra,Orator Rajat Kar, eminient odisi  music GuruGopal Panda, Folk artist and poet Ghasiram Mishra  recieved honorary degrees.

The Degrees of Ph.D. and D.Litt. and the Degrees of P.G. and U.G. Courses completed since 2015-16 and 2016-17 were awarded to the candidates, declared qualified on the basis of the results of examinations held. Governor S.C Jamir conferred honorary degree to Dr.Ratan Thyam, Chairman.National School Of Drama
