Kendra Pada:5/4/17: Mamata, daughter of Abhay Dalai of Baradia village under Rajnagar block in the district, had gone to a pond adjoining to their house along with sister Ashanti (7) at around 4 pm yesterday.The 5-ft long wild crocodile suddenly attacked Ashanti while both sisters were taking bath. Displaying her great presence of mind, Mamata pulled her sister out from water and the crocodile slipped into the pond.Ashanti sustained injuries on her right hand in the crocodile attack and she was rushed to a hospital.
