UCCI Organised Mega exhibition is being organized

Bhubaneswar:30/3/17:The Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry Limited (UCCI) is the Apex Chamber in the State of Odisha comprising of 3 sectors of the economy i.e. Industry, Trade & Services. The Chamber has more than 700 members and has almost all the Mega & Large Industries, Medium and Small Industries of Odisha in its fold including Large, Medium and Small trading houses as well as service sectors.

 

The chamber has been conducting national level exhibitions since several years. This year the Mega exhibition is being organized from 1st April – 4th April’2017 at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar. It has been decided to show-case not only the industrial prowess of the State but also offer a platform for the MSME & the Start-ups to show-case the potential of their products. It also provides platform to understand the industrial ecosystem of the State and various initiatives by Govt. of Odisha on “Ease of Doing Business” and making Odisha a preferred destination for Investors and FII.

 

Sj. Radha Mohan Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India will grace the event as Chief Guest and the exhibition will be inaugurated by Sj. Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India as Chief Guest. Sj. Tapan Kumar Chand, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NALCO &Sj. KulamaniBiswal, Director (Finance),NTPC will grace as Guest of Honour. 

 

The Closing Ceremony of the Exhibition will be on 4th April’2017 and will be graced by
Sj. Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Union Minister, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India &Sj. JualOram, Hon’ble Minister for Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India as Chief Guest. Sj. RavindraNath, CMD, NSIC and Sj. L. N. Gupta, IAS, Principal Secretary, MSME, Govt. of Odisha as Guest of Honour.

 

Luminaries of the State with outstanding career profile will be felicitated during the inaugural ceremony and closing ceremonies.

 

Awards in different categories from Mega to MSME Industries have been instituted to be given during the inaugural and valedictory ceremony of the UCCI EXPO-2017.
