Naveen claimed for introduction of an express train from the state named after Buxi Jagabandhu

Bhubaneswar:30/3/17: In a bid to recall the sacrifice of Buxi Jagabandhu, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik claimed for introduction of an express train from the state named after the legendary fighter while addressing on the occasion of 200 years completion of Paika Vidroha.

Buxi Jagabandhu is one of the earliest freedom fighters of India and the chief architect of great Paika Rebellion in 1817.

The Chief Minister has announced this during a function organized for 200 years completion of Paika Mutiny at Khordha.

On the other hand, he said, in 2017-18 fiscal the state government is set to launch drinking water facility to urban and rural areas for which more than 1000 crore budget has been allocated.

School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra, Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Panda, Minister of Law Arun Sahoo, Collector Niranjan Sahoo were also present among the dignitaries.
