Babusan as Best Actor and Barsha conferred best actress in 7th Odia Fil mFair Award

Bhubaneswar:30/3/17:The seventh RUCHI Odia Filmfare Award-2016 was held at the Utkal Mandap,

Bhubaneswar  with Sarat Sahu Chairman Ruchi Spices inaugurating it on Wednesday.

Filmfair chairman Ullhas Chandra Behura and chief advisor Bapu Lenka organised the event. Bollywood actress Urmila Matandakar was the star attraction of the show.

The Filmfair Award for the year of 2016 was given in 31 categories, including Life time achievement,Odia Film industry icon best actor, actress, director, singer, writer and producer.

Chakrapani yesteryear odia hero  conferred for life time achievement and Dubaibased Odia Film and tele serlal Maker Akshaya Parija conferred with Icon of Odia film industry., Babusan, Barsha, Archita Sabyasachi Mishra, Papu Pom Pom, Aparajita,Subrat Swain,Premananda,Ananyasritam Nanda,Puspa Panda

and Rabi Pattnaik, among others, were awarded for their contributions to the Odia film industry in their respective fields.
