Rituals at the famed Lingaraj temple start

Bhubaneswar: 27/3/17:After 3-day long disruption, rituals at Lingaraj temple resumed after settling the dispute among servitors of two sects over Maha Baruni Snana ritual.

The conflict between servitor groups finally ended after the interference of Bhubaneswar ADM Manoj Kumar Mohanty, who held a meeting to resolve the issue today.

The ADM also warned the servitors during the meeting to prevent such disturbances which halts the rituals at the famed Lingaraj temple.

It has been also decided that any servitor need to inform the temple trust board regarding their grievance should notify in written format before eight days, so that the authorities will initiate to resolve the matter reported by the complainant.
