Odia week shall be observed across the state from Odia New Year

Bhubaneswar:27/3/17; The State’s GA department has been asked by Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi for preparing a schedule to observe Odia week starting from Odia New Year which aims at escalating motivation among the government employees to use Odia language.

In a high level meeting, he reviewed the usage of Odia language in Government offices and the updates on the issue were presented by Special Secretary of GA Department Ashok kumar Meena.

In his statement, Culture Secretary Manoranjan Panigrahi said that a new version of Odia administrative dictionary is prepared and will be shortly published.
