Bishnu Charan Das was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Board

Bhubaneswar: 19/3/17;BJD Rajya Sabha MP Bishnu Charan Das was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Board today, which was lying vacant after the resignation of MP N Bhaskar Rao. He was also appointed as Convener of BJD Dalit cell earlier in the day.

After getting the appointments Das said that he is executing all the responsibilities, given at any period of time, by the party Supremo. He may have to resign from his MP post after being appointed as the Deputy Chairman of State Planning Board as the post is equivalent to a Cabinet rank.
