Ms Jagi Mangat Panda become the new deputy chairperson of CII, Eastern Region

Bhubanewar;(ONT Bureau)15/3/17:Ms Jagi Mangat Panda, managing director of Ortel Communications Ltd, has become the new deputy chairperson of CII, Eastern Region for the year 2017-18. Ms. Jagi Mangat Panda is a Co-Founder of Ortel Communications Ltd. and has been its Managing Director since December 1, 1999. Ms. Panda has more than 15 years of experience in the media and broadcasting industry. She has been an Executive Director of Ortel Communications, Ltd. since October 5, 1995. She has been a Non Executive & Independent Director at JM Financial Limited since March 31, 2015. She has been awarded and recognized as the “Young Global Leader” at the World Economic Forum in 2008. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She also holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Umesh Chowdhary, vice-chairman and managing director, Titagarh Wagons Ltd, has been elected the new chairman of CII, Eastern Region for the year 2017-18. Their names were announced at the first meeting of the reconstituted Eastern Regional Council .
