BJD supremo and chief minister Naveen Patnaik today suspended the party’s Koraput district president Jayaram Pangi for involvement in anti-party activities.supporters of Pangi and senior BJD leader and former minister Rabi Narayan Nanda had a face-off during the zilla parishad chairman election.Even BJD flags were burnt by a group of party activists and anti-Naveen slogans were made.SimilarilyBJP leader Jayanarayan Mishra was suspended from the party for six years for three reasons including the disorderly conduct against the party vice president Sameer Mohanty.
The announcement was made by the BJP State president Basant Panda hours after some party activists attacked Sameer Mohanty, an observer for ZP chairperson election, at the party office in Sambalpur earlier in the day.
