Bargarh District administration Fresh visit of probe into the farmers suicide case

Bargarh: (ONT Bureau)9/3/17:Bargarh Collector Anjan Kumar Manik, Superintendent of Police B Jugalkishore and Additional District Collecor Vincent Punamkant visited Khaenu Bagarti’s house at Kendapalli village in the district for carrying out fresh probe into the farmers suicide case today.
Odisha Agriculture Minister Pradeep Maharathy ordered the district administration for reinvestigation into the matter after opposition leaders reacted outrageously in the state assembly on his negative statement.
The investigating team took statements of the victim’s family members and examined the crop fields of the deceased farmer.
Reportedly, the team has to submit the fresh probe report to the government and SRC by today evening.
