Bagha irrigation barrage claimed lives of three workers

Boudh: By OdishaNews Times Bureau On Mar 6, 2017: Bagha irrigation barrage claimed lives of three workers and left two critical and many injured today morning. The incident occurred at the construction site of the barrage in Sagada here when a crane overturned, killing the three workers on the spot.
The Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik ordered the Chief Engineer (Mechanical) of Water Resources Department to conduct a probe into the incident and give the report within three days. Expressing grief over the mishap, he has also announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased. The injured will be given Rs 50,000 and free treatment.
The accident took place at around 9 am when the crane was overloaded
