Rs 290 crore approved for Puri Jagannath Temple

Puri: 5/3/17;The Managing committee of Puri Jagannath Temple has approved a budget of Rs 290 crore on Saturday for the financial year 2017-18.
The general body meeting discussed over income and expenditure of the temple which was presided over by Puri Gajapati Dibyasingha Dev.
According to the budget, Rs 23 crore has been allocated for temple’s daily rituals, Rs 25 crore for the management and Rs 1.5 crore for administrative work.
Besides, a sum of Rs 40 crore has been allocated for constructing pilgrim shelters and Rs 17 crore for the servitor’s welfare.
