Jatni Tahsildar was attacked by mining Mafia

Khordha(ONT Bureau)1/3/17:The Jatni Tahsildar was attacked during a raid on an illegal stone quarry on Wednesday. The Tahsildar and his team were conducting a raid in Rathipur area known for illegal mining.
The Tahsildar Bijay Swain has been severely injured as members of the mine mafia attacked him. He has been immediately admitted to Jatni Medical.
Tahsildar Swain and his team had reached the site to conduct a raid after getting complaints about illegal mining of stones at the site when their team faced resistance form the local groups present there. The team was attacked and Swain was injured in the attack.
