Naveen’s Address To Poll Observers On Campaign Strategies

Bhubaneswar(OdishaNews Times Bureau) On Jan 27, 2017 :For upcoming three-tier panchayat polls in Odisha, the Congress party here on Friday released the party’s poll manifesto focussing to improve the rural economy of the State. The other sectors which have been featured in the list include social security, development of villages, empowerment of Panchayati Raj institutions, agriculture and development of SC/ST.
Addressing media Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) chief Prasad Harichandan said, “Since Congress was not in power for last 16 years, we won’t be able to promise huge changes in the current system. But we want to tell the people of Odisha that unless the villages are developed and rural youths are financially secured, we can’t expect our country to grow.”
