MAHIMA ON LAST DAY OF REMAND

Odisha Stevedores Limited (OSL) managing director Mahimananda Mishra was on Wednesday interrogated by the Paradip police in the Jalaram Transport firing case of Angul of the year 2011 on the last day of his four-day police remand.
Mishra was quizzed by senior officials of the Paradip police and Officer-in-Charge of the Colliery police station of Angul.
On Thursday, Mishra had also been grilled by Crime Branch police officials over his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of the Paradip-based JM Boxing company manager Pratap Chandra Das in 1995.
Notably, the Kujang JMFC court had allowed the Paradip police to take Mishra on the four-day remand from January 1 for further interrogation in connection with the murder of Seaways Shipping and Logistics Private Limited (SSPL) general manager Mahendra Swain onOctober 26.
