The new Odia movie titled Mo dil kahe Ilu Ilu is based on double roles. The story focuses more on family drama despite being a love story. Entrepreneur’s (Mihir Das) son Deb falls in love with another entrepreneur’s (Bijaya Mohanty) daughter Shruti. Residing in Deb’s home is a transgender named Ketaki, also happens to be in love with Deb. However marriage of both the leads were fixed. Driven by revenge, the lady-boy plans to capture all properties of Deb’s father and consequently joins hands with the main villain of the story Raja (Rabin Nanda). But Deb marries a village lady who exactly resembles Shruti. Fact that Shruti and the village girl were long lost twins came into scene only after the marriage happened. Few days after marriage, deb’s wife comes to know that she is suffering from brain cancer. So she plans to bring together her sister and husband and successfully does so. At last part of the movie, the wrong deeds of the villain comes into light of law and was hence arrested. Acting of supporting actors and actresses were appealing but the leading duo failed to impress us.The villain seemed to overact at many places. Wholly, the movie was dramatic and the director did a good job with his part. The music and lyrics are worthy to be rewarded.
