Legendary Odia singer Pranab Kishore Patnaik was conferred with first Sikander Alam Memorial award

Bhubaneswar:27/7/18; Legendary Odia singer Pranab Kishore Patnaik, who has ruled the hearts of music lovers for several decades, was today bestowed with first Sikander Alam Memorial award by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at state Secretariat in Odisha capital.

At the conference hall of the secretariat, a memento, citation and a shawl was presented to the veteran singer

The award has been constituted by Sikander Alam Foundation to reward eminent artists on the occasion of the late singer’s 79th birthday.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid his rich tributes to Sikander Alam and congratulated Pranab Patnaik on receiving the award.
